Bob Saget doesn't try to be funny...he is funny. He did dirty filthy stand-up before Full House and AFHV, so it's not like he's trying to counter his image (well maybe a little) but he is just going back to what he was doing to start with...I thought his most recent special was hilarious myself, especially the song about being gay with John Stamos.
