The whole credit creation system is ***** up. Fannie and Freddie can't be allowed to fail, because the whole system depends upon mortgage debt. We should restructure the financial system to provide more credit to small businesses, and other things. More long-term investment in clean energy technoogy might be a good place to start. Improved infrastructure would also be a good idea. Investment in high-tech manufacturing and biotech is also good. Where the payoffs are longer term, and/or capital costs are high, there needs to be more public support. Instead we just get more bubbles over-valuing investment in the same things.

And PowerPC support would rock, as there are many old PPC (Apple) desktops that could become very usable again with an install of a lightweight distro. The only issue for these machines is no flash browser plugin on PPC arch. I have tried both gnash and swfdec as alternatives, but they both have a way to go in terms of being able to play more than just flash-based ads ;-p

I can't say I was particularly interested in this game prior to seeing this video. Now that I've seen it though, I'll definitely give it a chance. Aside from the amazing graphics and interaction, I'm curious to see how the whole good/bad thing works with it. Plus the apocalyptic look makes for a great look.
